Lead Financial Advisor — CRNA Specialist

Michigan-based RIA • Remote-friendly • No prospecting

We measure households per advisor, not hours at a desk. Your scoreboard is client outcomes, not keystrokes.

Why this role exists

CRNAs juggle W‑2 + 1099, PSLF, call pay, and taxes that don’t fit on one napkin. We exist to simplify that. You’ll lead the relationships and the planning; we hand you clients and the team to serve them well.

What you’ll own

  • Primary relationship lead for an assigned book (we’ll seed you; you’re not hunting).
  • Planning, heavily tax-integrated:
    • W-2/1099 mix strategy, entity selection (S-corp), reasonable comp, QBI, estimated taxes.
    • Student loans/PSLF, IDR selection/recert cadence, tax filing choices to protect forgiveness.
    • Retirement plans (401(k)/403(b)/457/backdoor/mega-backdoor), asset location, IPS.
    • Insurance (own-occ DI, malpractice tail), college/cashflow, “retire at 55?” scenarios.

What you won’t do

  • Cold call.
  • Buy leads.
  • “Smile-and-dial.” None of it. We bring the clients; you bring a great experience to those clients.

The offer (simple & upside-heavy)

  • Base: $70,000
  • Profit share: 25% of gross collected revenue (AUM + flat fees) on the households you lead. Paid quarterly. No cap.
  • Benefits: 401(k) match, health stipend
  • Support: Dedicated Client Service Associate (assistant) + in-house CPA/EA. You stay in the advice seat.
  • Trajectory: Clear runway to ~125-150 households at capacity with unlimited upside tied to your book, not seniority.

Illustrative variable (new‑adds only):

  • 25 adds/yr × $3,600 avg Yr‑1 revenue → $90,000 × 25% = $22,500
  • 50 adds/yr → $180,000 × 25% = $45,000
  • 75 adds/yr → $270,000 × 25% = $67,500
  • (plus the existing households we assign to you; real upside is higher and compounds with growth)
  • For reference, we are averaging 4‑6 new households per month with avg revenue of $6,000/yr

Total target comp after 12/mos = $100k – $150k. $300k+ expected after 5 years.

Must-haves

  • CFP® (or near-complete) and a strong tax background.
  • PSLF/IDR literacy: PAYE/SAVE nuances, tax filing coordination, forgiveness timing.
  • Crisp communication (plain-English, low drama). Fiduciary DNA.

Nice-to-haves

  • EA/CPA (or EA-track)
  • Student-loan specialist experience
  • Prior healthcare-professional niche work.
